A Galesburg man faces one count of arson in connection with a fire that destroyed a Warren County house.

The fire happened in a house near 180th Street and the U.S. 34 overpass Monday morning, November 26, 2012.  Firefighters from three departments fought the fire. 

The house, which was not occupied but had items stored inside, was a total loss.

Detectives said parts from vehicles and farm machinery had been stolen from the property at about the same time the fire happened.

Dustin Lewis, 24, of Galesburg, Illinois was arrested the day after the fire.  He was charged with one count of arson.

Lewis was held in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.
