Burlington man arrested carrying more than 2 pounds of marijuana

Police said a man they arrested at the Burlington Train Depot was carrying more than two pounds of marijuana at the time of the arrest.

Police said a man they arrested at the Burlington Train Depot was carrying more than two pounds of marijuana at the time of the arrest.

Calvin Cass Tucker, 30, was reportedly a passenger on Amtrak’s California Zephyr train that originated in Chicago, Illinois on Monday, November 5, 2012.  When he arrived in Burlington, agents from the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force and Illinois State Police arrested him.

Police said Tucker had more than two pounds of marijuana, drug packaging material and an undisclosed amount of cash on him when he was arrested at the Burlington Train Depot at 200 South Main Street.

Tucker was held in the Des Moines County Jail.
