The Quad City community showed their support this weekend for a little girl battling cancer.
It was Cheerin' for Charly Day at Van's Pizza in Bettendorf on Saturday, October 13th. The event included a silent auction and a raffle.
Eight-year-old Charly Erpelding is currently fighting State 4 Ewing's Sarcoma. She was diagnosed in May 2012.
Heidi Behning, Charly's Aunt, says the event gave friends, family, and community members a way to help Charly.
"She's doing good," syas Heidi. "She feels good. You can see that contagious smile on her face. She is just a rock star through all of this."
Heidi says she decided to organize the event because so many people were asking how they could donate.
