A homecoming dress giveaway will be held today at Rock Island High School from 3:30-5 p.m.
Anyone in need of a homecoming dress can stop by and pick one up.
Rock Island plays Moline in football Friday night at 7 p.m.
The homecoming dance is Saturday night.
Davenport Community Schools
Now through Monday, students at several Davenport elementary and schools and four intermediate schools are selling Major Saver restaurant cars for $10 each.
The card offers a buy one/get one free deal at 15 restaurants, including Happy Joe’s, Dickey’s, Sonic and Boat House.
Proceeds from the sales go to the Davenport Schools Foundation’s Great Minds Program for Student Enrichment.
