Two days after it was issued, a boil order was lifted in the Village of Cordova, Illinois.

Part of the Village of Cordova was placed under a boil order Monday morning, August 13, 2012.

The boil order includes customers from Tenth Avenue to Third Street to the south end of the village.

Water should be brought to and kept at a rolling boil for five minutes before it is used for cooking or before it is cooled and used for drinking.

A notice from village officials said the boil order was in effect until further notice.
