A Bettendorf, Iowa woman was sentenced to 20 years in prison plus 15 years of supervised release after she pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child.

Amanda Diener, 37, pleaded guilty in October 2011 in U.S. District Court in Davenport, Iowa.  She faced a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in prison.

Diener admitted to chatting online with Hobart Yates of Everett, Massachussetts for several months beginning in September 2009.  The chats turned sexual in June 2010.

Diener eventually complied with Yates’ requests for pornographic images of herself and of a child to whom she had access.   She reportedly provided the images in exchange for money.

Diener was sentenced August 15, 2012.

Yates previously pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and to conspiracy to ship, transport and receive child pornography.
