Sexting, F-bomb and cloud computing are among the new words added to the 11th edition of the Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary.

Some say it’s a sign of the evolving times.  Some say it’s a continuation of the “dumbing down” of our language.

The Merriam Webster collegiate dictionary added about 100 new words and phrases this year.   Some definitions of previously-published words were updated.

If you’ve ever been curious about brain cramps, life coaches or geocaching, now you can look up those terms in the dictionary.  There was a time when e-readers, bucket lists and energy drinks didn’t exist.  Now, those commonly-spoken terms are also officially defined.
