Two teenage girls were shot in an alley in East Moline, Illinois early Thursday morning, August 2, 2012.

Police said the shooting happened in the north alley of the 400 block of 15th Avenue at about 2 a.m.

A 19-year-old girl suffered serious injuries and a 17-year-old girl had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they found a stolen car used by the suspects from the shooting.  The car was not occupied when it was found in the 1800 block of Kennedy Drive, about three blocks from the scene of the shooting.  Police said the car had been stolen in Moline.
