UPDATED: A wreck involving several vehicles, including one that overturned, blocked all Iowa-bound lanes of the I-74 bridge Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012.
The crash was reported just before 7 a.m. on Interstate 74 at the State Street exit in Davenport, Iowa.
Police said a separate crash happened north of State Street. As traffic slowed, five vehicles were involved in a wreck at the State Street exit.
A 56-year-old woman from Orion, Illinois and a 52-year-old man from East Moline, Illinois were each taken by ambulance to an area hospital. Police said their injuries were not life-threatening.
The vehicle driven by the East Moline man overturned in the crash.
Traffic backed up across the bridge and into Illinois, past the exit to 5th Avenue in Moline. Illinois-bound traffic was also backed up as drivers slowed to look at the crash.
One lane was reopened at about 7:45 a.m. Police had all lanes reopened just after 8 a.m.
Police said they planned to file charges against at least one driver involved in the five-vehicle wreck.
