A 23-year-old man from Sterling, Illinois died in a reported industrial accident at IFH Group in Rock Falls, Illinois.
IFH Group, at 3300 East Route 30, fabricates metal to make custom fluid storage and dispensing systems.
Emergency responders were sent to IFH Group Friday, July 27, 2012 just after 4 p.m.
Police said several sheets of steel fell on Cody Bragg as he was working at IFH Group. Mr. Bragg was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Whiteside County Coroner and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were investigating the incident.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Bragg were pending at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
