The 41st Annual StreetFest has kicked off in Downtown Davenport.  The event is filled with live music, craft vendors and a family fun area.  The StreetFest is from 10 am to midnight on Friday and 9 am to midnight on Saturday.

The event is a tradition in downtown Davenport and one thing that keeps people coming back is the food.  Every year there is your typical fair foods like funnel cakes, corn dogs and lemonade shake ups.  But if you are looking for something unique, you can find it this year.

"We make fish hot dogs and sloppy joes made out of asian carp," says Schafer's Famous Fish worker, Michael Grady says.

Grady says the fish ingredients are a healthy option to the traditional foods.  He says it is a food source that is new and could change the world.

But if changing the world isn't what you are after and a grilled rib eye steak, pork chop or all beef hot dog sounds good, you can try Steve's Meat Shop.

If you are looking for a sit-down meal but still want to enjoy the outdoor festivities, you can walk down to 2nd and Perry Street and check out the 1st Annual Barrel House Bix Bash.

Owner Michael DeWitte says the restaurant wanted to give the public one more great option for the weekend's entertainment.  You can order from the regular menu inside or enjoy festival type food outside while enjoying live music.
