Police say two men were arrested in connection with a January 2011 home invasion in which one suspect was killed.

Two men reportedly broke into a home in the 2500 block of Crestview Drive just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011.  A physical struggle then happened between the suspects and two residents inside the home.

One of the alleged suspects, 19-year-old Jonathon Workman of Moline, Illinois, suffered multiple injuries including a stab wound.  He was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police said the two residents, a 49-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were also hospitalized for injuries suffered in the altercation.

The second suspect fled.

Police announced July 25, 2012 that two arrests were made in the case.

Kenneth Duncan, 20, of Moline Illinois and Austin Spencer, 20, of East Moline, Illinois were held in the Rock Island County Jail.  They are each charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both men were held without bond.
