Volunteers used the theme “Chilling Out” when they chose and packed items donated for soldiers and their families.

Every month, a group called “Molly’s Mom” adopts a military unit that has requested a morale boost.  This time, volunteers gathered at the American Legion post in Davenport, Iowa to pack boxes shipping out to Camp Brown in Afghanistan.

Camp Brown is home to 141 soldiers, sailors and airmen.

In addition to items following the “Chilling Out” theme, volunteers sent sunscreen, magazines, coffee, beef jerky and candy.
