Red, White and You Blood Drives, Summer 2012
The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center relies on a steady rate of blood donation to meet the needs of hospitals and patients in communities throughout our region. The demand for blood is constant, but the rate of donation decreases during the summer months. That’s why MVRBC is holding “Red, White & You” Blood Drives all summer long.
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the exclusive provider of blood and blood components to all hospitals in the Quad Cities and dozens more in the surrounding region. Blood donors provide a critical, lifesaving resource for patients at local hospitals. Area hospitals use about the same amount of blood every month, but during the summer months, the rate of blood donation drops. Make a difference for your community by giving blood at the following locations:
