An adult driver and a toddler from West Burlington, Iowa died in a crash Sunday, July 1, 2012.

The wreck was reported just after noon on Highway 34 just east of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

The 58-year-old driver of a tractor-trailer from Waterloo, Iowa reportedly stopped to look at a vehicle for sale that was parked near the road.  His stopped tractor-trailer was still in the right-hand westbound lane of the highway.
