The massive Mississippi River fireworks show between Davenport and Rock Island is less than a week away and it’s looking bigger than ever.

Red, White and Boom organizers say the show will have double the amount of fireworks as last year and will be the biggest show in the region.

The July 3rd activities will kick off at 6 pm in both Davenport's Leclaire Park and Rock Island's Schwiebert Park.

This year's show will celebrate the Rock Island Arsenal's 150th anniversary.

The fun starts at 6pm and lasts until 10pm. The night will feature music, food vendors, a beer garden, children entertainment starting at 6:30pm and a special military tribute.
