UPDATED: Police say a woman killed in a crash on 220th Street near 215th Avenue was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The crash was reported at about 8 a.m. on 220th Street between 215th and 230th avenues, near Hidden Hills Golf Course in Scott County, Iowa.  Eldridge Police blocked the road to all traffic.

Police said the crash involved a Plymouth Voyager minivan traveling westbound on 220th street when the driver apparently lost control on the gravel road and the van overturned. The van came to rest on the driver's side.

The driver, 40-year-old Kristine Witcraft, was thrown from the van and landed in a ditch.

Ms. Witcraft was pronounced dead at the scene.  No other juries were reported.
