Man dies in Dubuque house fire

One story of a home collapsed into another in a fire that left a man dead in Dubuque, Iowa.

The fire was reported at about 4:30 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at a home in the 700 block of Caledonia Street.

KCRG reports the second floor of the home collapsed into the first floor during the firefight.  The house was considered a total loss.

Firefighters found the body of a man inside after the fire was extinguished.

Neighbors reported expressed concern for animals they thought also occupied the home, but no animals were found.
