Vandals strike Mediapolis church

MEDIAPOLIS, Iowa—Vandals reportedly did several hundred dollars’ damage to a church in Mediapolis, Iowa.

The Des Moines County Sheriff Department got the report just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012.

Glass was damaged by apparent BB gun shots at First Baptist Church, 120 S. Harrison Street.

The damage was estimated to cost between $200 and $500 to repair.

No injuries were reported.   No arrests had been made.
