Col Ballroom homicide suspect arrested

Police say they’ve arrested the man who fired the shot that killed Michael Williams at the Col Ballroom in May 2011.

The shooting happened just before midnight Saturday, May 7, 2011.    Williams and three other people were shot in the parking lot after a fight that started inside the ballroom continued in the parking lot.

Police said as people left the Col Ballroom, 1012 West Fourth Street, shots were fired.  Williams was killed.  Vincent Lee Howard, Raheem Houston and Aaron Ellis were wounded by gunshots.

Police said Tresvour “Trezzie” Robertson, 20, was arrested by Rock Island Police on Wednesday evening, January 11, 2011.

Robertson was held in the Rock Island County Jail awaiting extradition to Scott County, Iowa.

Robertson is charged with first-degree murder.  His Scott County bond is $1 million.
