The Weather Wizard Desktop App is a FREE small, simple application which you can download and install on your
Windows, Mac, or Linux based personal computer. It is completely safe to download and does not contain any malware or spyware.

Features and Functionality
Following Download you will be able to:
- Access current local temperature information straight from the app face.
- Click on the temperature to see a four day forecast.
- Updated RSS Reader which will show you the latest headlines.
- Receive a crawl which will scroll across the bottom of your screen to alert you to breaking news or weather alerts.
- Access to several different radar maps available on the Radar Button.
Here is how the Weather Wizard Operates:
The Weather Wizard can be left open in the lower right hand corner of your computer desktop or can be minimized to your taskbar.
To Minimize the window, just click on the X in the upper right corner. The current temperature will be displayed in your Windows taskbar.
To Maximize the window again, double-click on the temperature display next to the Weather Wizard icon.
On a Mac computer, to maximize double click on the temperature in the dock.
During severe weather warnings, you will receive a text crawl and see a warning map directly on your computer. It’s just like those you are familiar with seeing on television. The crawl is preceded by an audible alert sound, to bring attention to your computer.

Two important notes: You will need to stay connected to the Internet during the entire install operation and you also must have administrator rights to install the software. If you get a “Can’t create registry settings” you will need to speak with your network administrator.
