The Mercer Foundation for Health and Genesis Philanthropy will offer a health program with proven results for residents of Mercer County and the region.

The Mercer Foundation for Health has partnered with Genesis Philanthropy to offer free screenings to individuals who want to lose weight and reduce their risk for chronic disease. If clinically qualified, individuals will be able to participate in a free 10-week program to reduce the risk factors of Metabolic Syndrome.

The Genesis Philanthropy Metabolic Syndrome Initiative will be accepting registrations from individuals living in the Genesis service area from Jan.9-13, 2017. A second class will be scheduled for September 2017.

The walk in clinic at Genesis Health Group, Aledo is open on Mondays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. Walk-in visits on Monday & Friday will be seen on first come, first serve basis except in cases of emergency.
