ROCK ISLAND, Illinois - Illinois-bound traffic lanes on Centennial Bridge have re-opened after being shut down following an accident involving a street sweeper earlier Thursday morning.
Police say that a car ran into the back of a street cleaner while it was cleaning the bridge on March 15.
Minor injuries were reported. The driver of the vehicle was cited for no insurance and failure to stop in a clear and assured distance.
