Raise your hand if you're ready for SPRING!
We are still a few weeks away from the official start of Spring, but I decided we needed to have an unofficial start today for our weekly "Nailed It Or Failed It" segment on WQAD News 8 at 11am.
This week is all about flowers - how to paint them, cut them, and do a super cool science experiment with them.
First, we painted flowers using... celery. Yep. Celery. It's a neat trick that I found here. Second, we cut out flowers using scissors and at the end - you guessed it - a glue gun. I found this one one of my favorite pages on Facebook here. Click the video above to see if both crafts worked!
Third, we started a science experiment that's going to take a couple weeks - just like our avocado experiment from last week.
