ROCK ISLAND, Illinois -- Homeowners in Rock Island will pay more in fees and property taxes next year.
In a meeting on Monday night, December 18, the Rock Island City Council approved the city's budget for 2018.
Changes include a 9% increase in property taxes, a 3% increase in sewer fees and an increase of $1 per month in garbage fees.
