HAMPTON, Illinois -- Emergency crews spent Monday afternoon, December 11, working to put out a house fire off of IL 84, near Hampton.
Neighbors say they saw the garage erupt in flames.
WQAD's Christina Hepner spoke with family members of the owner, who confirmed that the woman, their mother, no longer lives in the home.
Port Byron, Cordova, and Rapid City Fire Departments are among the crews on scene.
