Clinton Police searching for suspect in Tuesday morning bank robbery

UPDATE: At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers from the Clinton Police Department responded to reports of a robbery at the Sterling Federal Bank on 247 7th Ave. S. in Clinton.

According to the Clinton Police Department, the suspect entered the bank and demanded money before leaving with an undisclosed amount.

The suspect has been described as a clean shaven white male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5’7″ to 5’9″, and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket or hoodie, black plants, and black shoes.

Earlier: The Clinton Herald is reporting that the Sterling Federal Bank on 7th Avenue South was robbed this morning and that police are on scene investigating.
