Update: The woman has been identified by the Muscatine County Sheriff's Office as Jeanne Lynn Dowell, 70, of Clinton, Iowa.
Dowell had been reported missing to the Clinton Police Department on May 12.
MUSCATINE, Iowa -- A woman's body was pulled from the Mississippi River on Wednesday morning, May 17, in Muscatine.
The body was found near the 2900 block of Highway 22 around 7:30 a.m.
The woman has not been identified.
An investigation is on-going.
