We're waking up to dangerous wind chills once again this morning. Some spots are nearing -30 degrees at 6:00am. Sunshine today will allow us to warm up though. We'll rise above zero at 10 this morning with wind chills going above zero by 1pm today.
A dramatic warm up is coming for the middle to end of next week. We've had snow covering the ground in the Quad Cities since December 10th. While I do anticipate snow still on the ground for Christmas, some above-freezing temperatures will melt off at least some of it beginning Wednesday.
A new weather maker will bring a mix of rain and snow to our region on Christmas with some light snowfall possible on Monday.
