DAVENPORT, Iowa — You may not see clear roads in Davenport until Monday, Dec. 19, said Public Works Director Gleason.
“The snow team has been keeping up with the main routes and emergency routes using an increased amount of salt,” said Gleason in a release on Saturday evening.
All main and emergency routes in Davenport have been plowed.
With a bit of snow pack, roads should retain more traction until the temperatures rise to a point where salt will become effective again. It is expected that on Monday, crews will be sent back out on the streets as necessary to continue plowing and salting streets, said Nahra.
