DAVENPORT, Iowa — There's a new resource for business owners in the Quad Cities. Coworkqc has opened 3,000 square feet of space in Davenport.

The spaces at 102 E. Second Street will be rented out to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and creative minds to give them a more professional environment while working. There are about 10 public and private offices available right now. There's also a wide open drop-in space for events and conferences.

"Through word of mouth and social media a lot of people have been finding out about us and we have a few bloggers and writers and they're bringing their contacts here," said Amy Sivertsen with Coworkqc.

Coworkqc is also sponsored by the QC Chamber of Commerce. The organization held their grand opening on Dec. 15 with drinks, free coffee mugs and a chance to win free office space.
