(CNN) — Nominations for the 74th Golden Globe Awards will be revealed Monday by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

This year’s race is expected to have a few sure bets for movies, and some fresh faces for the television awards.

Films like “Moonlight,” “La La Land” and “Manchester by the Sea” are viewed as being virtual locks for nominations. They all have already received acclaim and awards from several critics associations.

On the TV side, watch for nods for new shows like NBC’s “This Is Us” and “Atlanta,” which both have fans among critics.

One winner has already been announced: Meryl Streep will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in the film industry.

“Meryl’s enthralling body of work across a diverse set of genres has made her a role model over the past 40 years, and she will continue to do so for generations to come,” Lorenzo Soria, the President of the HFPA, said of the eight time Golden Globe winner. “She is a trailblazer, having paved the way for women in television, film and stage. For shattering gender and age barriers, all with finesse and grace, the HFPA is humbled to bestow this honor upon her.”

Jimmy Fallon will host the awards ceremony set for January 8 on NBC.
