BYRON, Ga. (AP) — There's no word on the conditions of two police officers in central Georgia who were shot early this morning while serving a search warrant.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says a drug task force went to a home in Crawford County, and two officers entered the home after no one answered.
Authorities say that's when someone inside started shooting at them, and the officers were able to return fire.
There's also no word on the condition of the shooter.
