Moline mayoral challengers react to incumbent Raes’ ballot challenge

Mayoral candidates Bob Vogelbaugh and Stephanie Acri met with the press and public on Friday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. in front of Moline City Hall. During the conference, they said they are prepared to challenge incumbent Mayor Scott Raes' challenge of their inclusion on the ballot in court, but called on him instead to withdraw his challenge.

MOLINE, Illinois-- Moline Alderwoman, Stephanie Acri and Bob Vogelbaugh will meet in front of Moline City Hall to publicly address the two's possible disqualification on the race to the mayoral in April.

Incumbent Mayor Raes is challenging the nominating petitions  of Acri and Bob Vogelbaugh aka "Mr. Thanksgiving" for having their pages numbered at the bottom.

The news conference is set to start at 11 a.m.

A hearing on the issue will be on Monday, December 12 at Moline City Hall.
