MOLINE, Illinois — A young boy in Moline braved the cold Wednesday night, Dec. 7, to help the Salvation Army.
Joseph Alonso, 9, says he's always wanted to be a bell ringer, so he can help raise money for others. Wednesday night, he was ringing the bell at the Walgreens on 7th Street in Moline with his mom. Joseph says he got a lot of kind words from people donating money.
This was Joseph's first year as a bell ringer, and says he wants to do it again next year.
