Crash involving a Citibus and a car on Harrison street sends four to hospital

DAVENPORT — A Davenport Citibus crash into a passenger vehicle in the 200 block of Harrison Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, according to police.

The bus was traveling south and struck an eastbound Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the bus and two passengers on it were transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the car – who was the only occupant – was transported by a private vehicle to the hospital and was also treated for minor injuries.

The 18-year-old driver of the Hyundai was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and no insurance.
