People in the Quad Cities enjoyed the first day of snow outside.

MOLINE, Illinois - You could hear the laughter and joy as people were sledding down the hill in Prospect Park.

"My mom woke me up and she opened my curtain and then I saw, it was snowing," said Maira Hutchins.

Kids and adults both taking advantage of the freshly fallen snow.

"We were actually over here yesterday fishing, so it's kinda, fishing yesterday and sledding today," said Adrian Ortiz.

Some people even got creative out in the snow building a snowman.

"We're having a lot of fun, we had to go to the target and grab some boots this morning but we're having a good time,"  said Sarah Gomez.

"It's alright it's kind of fun to get out there and work with a machine," said Alexander Pinc.

Even those outside, enjoyed the scenery making the first snowfall a Winter Wonderland.

"If it's gonna be cold, let it snow, I mean all the kids are out there playing and it's beautiful it's a great, great day," said Pinc.
