DAVENPORT, Iowa — Hy-Vee is making sure Mr. Thanksgiving continues his annual Thanksgiving dinners. The store donated a check on Friday, Dec. 2, for more than $21,000 to Bob Voglebaugh. The donation was created through a fundraiser at Hy-Vee stores last month.

In addition to raising money, three Hy-Vee stores also helped out in the kitchen cooking turkeys, all the fixings, and providing the drinks.

"How can you really express what I'm feeling inside? It's everybody that's a part of this that makes it go. It's overwhelming," said Vogelbaugh.

This is the sixth year Hy-Vee has held a fundraiser for Mr. Thanksgiving's annual feast, raising a total of more than $86,000.
