DAVENPORT — A Bettendorf man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on Thursday, Dec. 1, after pleading guilty to receiving and distributing child pornography.

Andrew T. Zinngrabe, 37, admitted receiving and distributing pornographic images of children in April of 2015 following a file sharing investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Investigators downloaded a file supplied by Zinngrabe containing more than 100 images of child porn. A further search of his computer revealed he had 1,680 pictures and six videos containing child pornography.

Zinngrabe was sentenced in federal court in Davenport. In addition to the 10 years in prison, he was also sentenced to 10 years supervised release upon the end of his sentence. He will also have to register as a sex offender in the state’s database.
