Rain is moving out of the Quad City area, in favor of places like Indiana and Ohio. As it wraps up, snow is falling in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ontario.
But our next weathermaker could be more interesting. Instead of light rain, we could be in the cross hairs for some heavy rain. With a stormtrack going well to the west of our area, we will be in the “warmer” sector of the storm. Temperatures in the 50s will be warm enough to usher in warm, more humid air in from the Gulf of Mexico. There are some indications that as much as 2 inches of rainfall could come down in the area.
