The man who has served as Scott County attorney for nearly a decade will step into a new role. Michael Walton has been chosen as President-Elect of the Iowa County Attorneys Association (ICAA).
A group of Walton’s peers elected him for a one-year term at an ICAA conference held in Dubuque, Iowa in mid-November, 2016.
Leading up to the ICAA election, Walton had been in his role as Scott County Attorney since 2007. He also previously served on the ICAA Board of Directors as Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer.
