ROCK ISLAND, Illinois -- Two people were taken to the hospital following a report of gunshots in a residential area, police said.
Multiple gunshots were reported just after 5:15 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016, according to a spokesperson from the Rock Island Police Department. It happened somewhere in the area of 12th Street in between 10th and 11th Avenues.
Just before 7 p.m., officers were still on scene.
