NEW YORK, New York - Stocks are coming off a strong week after the Dow Jones closed at a record high on Friday, November 11, 2016.

The Dow was up nearly one thousand for the week to finish at a record 18,848 on Friday. The broader S and P 500 saw a 3.8% gain for the week, despite a 3 point decline on Friday, to close at close to 2,100.

Tech stocks didn't react so positively, gaining close to 2% for the week, despite falling more than 1% after the election.
