STERLING, Illinois — One man has been flown to a Rockford health care facility after possibly being electrocuted. Sterling police responded to the intersection of Locust and 23rd streets at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, after receiving reports of wires down near an area where crews were working.

Jordan Zulauf, 23, was found injured in the area. Police believe he may have been electrocuted. Zulauf, of Chicago, was taken to a hospital by ambulance, then taken to a Rockford area hospital by helicopter.

Another male was also on scene working with Zulauf, but has not yet been identified by police.
