WASHINGTON, D.C.-- With less than 48 hours until Election Day, the already-tumultuous presidential race saw another dramatic development.

FBI Director James Comey sent another letter to members of Congress, saying that after an expedited review of new emails, he is upholding his initial decision that Hillary Clinton should not face charges related to her use of a personal email server while Secretary of State.

This decision comes just two days before the election, and 9 days after Comey's last letter to Congress, when he alerted members that the FBI was scrutinizing newly discovered emails, pertaining to the ongoing investigation into former Representative Anthony Weiner's emails.

Comey says his department has reviewed all emails sent to and from Clinton. A spokesman for the candidate responded, saying the Clinton campaign always believed she would be cleared of any wrongdoing.

Donald Trump discredited that finding, while campaigning in Sioux City, Iowa this afternoon, saying the FBI didn't have enough time to review all emails. Trump said, "There is little doubt that FBI Director Comey and the great special agents within the FBI will be able to collect more than enough evidence to garner indictments against Hillary Clinton and her inner circle, despite her effort to disparage and discredit the FBI."

The Des Moines Register now has Trump polling ahead of Clinton by 7 points here in Iowa. This poll was just released yesterday.
