CHICAGO — It’s game 7 of the World Series. End of the 9th inning, Cubs and Indians are tied 6-6. And for both teams, a win would make history. That’s when the game goes into a rain delay.
If that doesn’t have fans biting their nails, nothing would.
After a nearly 20-minute delay, the 10th inning begins and the Cubs take the lead 8-6. Although Cleveland was able to get one more run, the Cubs won 8-7. It’s their first World Series win since 1908.
