ORLANDO – A female Adelie penguin named Wonder Twin has some feather loss, so SeaWorld staff decided to make her a very unique wet suit.
“It’s going to keep her warm, especially in the water,” said a staffer in their YouTube video. “Being able to make that kind of a difference for her is really cool.”
Staffers said feather loss can happen naturally in the wild or in captivity, but it’s detrimental to a penguin’s health.
