STERLING, Illinois-- Hundreds of people met outside Sterlington High School for the 4th annual Touchdown for Tatas event.

The event featured eight local football teams made up of breast cancer survivors and family and friends of those lose their lives to the disease.

"Unfortunately we live in a society where cancer has touched just about every life here.  It's Dixon, Rock falls, Sterling... so chances are if you can put your had out and touch a person here, they've been affected by cancer," says Dani Bright, event volunteer.

Touchdown for Tatas raised more than $50,000, and will go towards local support groups and special services for battling breast cancer.
