FULTON, Illinois — A boil order has been put in place for some residents in the area.
For those who live on 20th Avenue South from 4th Street to 6th Street, you should boil drinking and cooking water for five minutes prior to use. The city said this is a precautionary measure.
Water was set to shut off Friday morning so Public Works could repair a broken water main.
“Once the water is turned back on the boil order will still be in effect,” read a statement from the city.
