CHICAGO (WGN TV) -- A demonstration was held in front of Trump Tower Tuesday morning, in response to some lewd comments about women that Donald Trump was caught making on a hot mic.

The protests were part of a larger, national feminist protest against Donald Trump and the GOP.

A couple hundred women gathered across the street from Trump Tower in Chicago, carrying hand-made signs and chanting.

Many of the signs used by the protesters were very graphic, and not shown in WGN's broadcast.

The women say the language they chose to use in their signs was in response to the language Donald Trump used while having so-called "locker-room talk" with Access Hollywood host Billy Bush in 2005.

A handful of Trump supporters gathered across the street, echoing his claim that the release of the Access Hollywood video 11 years after the fact, and the women who have come forward claiming Trump sexually assaulted them, are part of a media conspiracy.

A huge police presence was at the scene to make sure the demonstrations were under control.
